Tire Balancing Service
Tire balancing is a process which consists in equalizing the combined weight of the tire and the wheel to ensure it turns smoothly. However a tire imbalance has consequences that go beyond a smooth ride. It is generally well-known that vibrations of the steering column and the vehicle floor will also translate in uneven tread wear. What is not so well-known is that these vibrations actually stress car parts and components that are not designed to withstand such levels of punishment and leads them to eventually fail. A tire imbalance also hurts fuel economy and impacts vehicle tracking. Not to mention that the life expectancy of suspension components is directly associated to an optimal balance of tires.
